Card Announced For NJPW Strong April 16 Edition
The Semi-Finals of the New Japan Cup USA take place on Friday
New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced the full card for this week’s edition of NJPW Strong. The April 16 edition of Strong will feature the Semi-Finals of the New Japan Cup USA 2021 tournament, after the first round of the tournament kicked off last week.
Semi-final one sees Lio Rush take on Brody King. Rush defeated Clark Connors in the previous round, whilst King defeated Chris Dickinson to set up this bout.
Semi-final two pits Tom Lawlor against Hikuleo. Lawlor submitted Ren Narita in the previous round, whilst Hikuleo overcame Fred Rosser.
Also scheduled for NJPW Strong is an eight-man tag match to open the show. The match will see Karl Fredericks, Kevin Knight, The DKC and Alex Coughlin teaming up to take on Misterioso, Barrett Brown, Adrian Quest and Jordan Clearwater.
