The Rock Dismisses WWE Return Reports

The Rock has claimed his WWE return isn't close

The Rock has dismissed reports that he is returning to WWE soon.

The Brahma Bull hasn't appeared on WWE TV since an October 2019 episode of SmackDown, but a recent report from Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast noted the current plan is for The Rock to return at the 2021 edition of Survivor Series.

The event will mark 25 years since The Rock's WWE debut and The Great One is booked to at least make an appearance at the pay-per-view.

The 49-year-old has dismissed reports of a return, though, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight. The Rock is currently promoting his upcoming Disney movie 'Jungle Cruise' alongside Emily Blunt and he told ET's Matt Cohen "there's nothing" when it comes to a possible WWE return.

Following a reported appearance at Survivor Series, The Rock is expected to clash with cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. If a singles match isn't possible, though, The People's Champion will team with an Uso against Reigns and the other Uso at The Showcase Of The Immortals.
