Triple Threat WWE Raw Tag Team Title Match Set For March 7

The previously announced Raw Tag Team Title match between champions Alpha Academy and RK-Bro was pushed back a week and made a Triple Threat on Monday's episode of Raw from Columbia, South Carolina. 

Alpha Academy will now put their gold on the line on Monday, March 7 against RK-Bro and the team of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.

Rollins and Owens earned a shot at the championship after they defeated RK-Bro in the main event of Raw, pinning Riddle after a Stunner-Stomp combination finisher. Owens and Rollins were given the opportunity to earn their way into the match after Owens petitioned to WWE. 

RK-Bro had previously earned a title shot after they emerged victorious from Alpha Academy's Academic Challenge, having won a spelling bee and quiz bowl. 

Riddle and Randy Orton were previously Raw Tag Team Champions but they lost the title to Alpha Academy on January 10. 

Kevin Owens has yet to hold a tag team title in WWE, while Rollins is a six-time tag team champion, having held tag team gold with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Jason Jordan, Braun Strowman and Buddy Murphy.
