Troy 'Two Dimes' Donovan Comments On WWE Release

Troy Donovan says he will be back following his WWE release

Troy 'Two Dimes' Donovan has issued his first comments since his WWE release on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, Donovan wrote: "Thank you to everyone who's reached out. Mistakes happen and lessons are learned. A bump in the road doesn't define me though. I'll be back."

It emerged on Sunday that Donovan had been released, with a report from Dave Meltzer stating Two Dimes had been let go because of a "policy issue." Donovan might also end up back in WWE as Meltzer noted he might be re-signed next year.

Two Dimes joined WWE earlier this year and he made his NXT debut in April. He then aligned with Tony D'Angelo and Channing 'Stacks' Lorenzo on the developmental brand and Donovan had been featured in recent weeks as part of the D'Angelo Family. This included a match at NXT In Your House on June 4 where he, D'Angelo, and Lorenzo defeated Legado Del Fantasma which meant Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde had to join their stable.
