NJPW Representative In AEW All-Atlantic Title Match To Be Determined In Mini-Tournament

A four-man tournament is on the way from NJPW

Alongside three AEW talents, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will have a representative in the AEW All-Atlantic Title Four-Way at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 26 in Chicago, Illinois.

It was unknown who the NJPW representative would be but the promotion announced today that a four-man tournament will take place on nights four and five of their New Japan Road tour to determine who advances to the June 26 pay-per-view.

Robbie Eagles will face Tomoaki Honma and Tomohiro Ishii will take on Yoshinobu Kanemaru on Monday, June 20 in the semifinals. The winners will then go one-on-one in the mini-tournament final on Tuesday, June 21.

AEW have already held one qualifier and PAC defeated Buddy Matthews to advance to the Four-Way at Forbidden Door. Miro will square off with Ethan Page to determine the second AEW participant on Wednesday's Dynamite before Malakai Black faces Penta Oscuro. The date of that match is currently unknown, though.

The All-Atlantic Championship will be AEW's third men's singles belt, joining the AEW World Championship and the TNT Championship.
