Update On Plans For WWE-TNA Crossover

A partnership months in the making.

Pro-wrestling insider X (FKA Twitter) account WrestleVotes has provided an update on plans for the WWE/TNA crossover, writing:

"While the exact details of the deal are unknown (as they should be), I'm told the partnership between WWE and TNA has been months in the making. WWE loved the feedback and energy from Jordynne Grace's Rumble appearance and were eager to use her again - opportunely. There are tentative plans for additional superstars to make crossover appearances in due time. Both companies understand that a slow, thoughtful approach is the best way forward in the beginning stages".

The crossover is certainly going to be profitable for the current TNA Knockouts World Champion, who will reportedly bank six figures for a handful of NXT appearances. Grace will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at Battleground on June 9.

WWE NXT talents are also expected to appear in TNA Wrestling in the future. Several wrestlers have teased matches with talent from the other company following Grace's NXT appearance.

However, WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels noted that a lot of things between the two sides are still being worked out internally.
