WWE Re-Signs Angel Garza

Angel Garza re-signs with WWE

Angel Garza won't be leaving WWE as the 31-year-old has re-signed with the company.

Taking to a Facebook stream, Garza revealed he has signed a new three-year deal.

"No, I have not left. In fact, I just re-signed for another three years. It was an offer I straight-up could not reject, so there is that," Garza said.

Garza's deal with WWE was set to expire on August 1 and it was known there was an offer on the table for Garza from WWE. The two sides had been locked in negotiations over a new contract.

After runs in AAA, on the indies, and in TNA Wrestling, Angel Garza signed with WWE in 2019. He was on NXT initially, which included a reign as NXT Cruiserweight Champion, before Garza was called up to the main roster in 2020. He was initially a part of a faction with Andrade and Zelina Vega that disintegrated in late 2020, and after spending time in the 24/7 Title picture, Garza formed Los Lotharios with real-life cousin Humberto Carrillo.

Garza and Carrillo have remained a team since 2021 and they are currently a part of Legado Del Fantasma with Santos Escobar, wrestling on NXT and Friday Night SmackDown.
