Another WWE Contract Approaching Expiration

After the recent news of Chad Gable’s WWE deal entering its final few days, news has emerged of another WWE deal approaching its expiration.

Per Fightful Select, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Angel Garza’s WWE contract is nearing its end, with the Legado del Fantasma member’s deal set to expire on August 1 should he and WWE fail to come to terms on a new deal. The report does state that there is an offer on the table from WWE, and the two sides are currently in negotiations over the terms of the deal. 

The last several months have seen many WWE deals enter their final stages, with the likes of Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch allowing their contracts to approach their end date. In the case of McIntyre, the ‘Scottish Psychopath’ signed a new contract around WrestleMania XL, whilst Lynch allowed her deal to expire in early June ahead of a hiatus from the industry.

The likes of Cody Rhodes, Charlotte Flair, and Seth Rollins also signed new deals in late 2023/early 2024 in the wake of impending expirations, with the new WWE regime seemingly looking to maximise team on previous deals before committing to new terms.
