Drew McIntyre Agrees New Deal With WWE

Drew McIntyre will be in WWE for the foreseeable future. One of the biggest ongoing stories in WWE throughout the last year has been the expiring contract of Drew McIntyre, with it being reported that his deal was coming up as soon as next month. 

After months of uncertainty, rumours, and reports, it was revealed by The Rock on Instagram that McIntyre has finally re-signed with WWE. A video was posted of McIntyre being sent the gift of a sword, with the caption:

“Man of my word

As you’re a man of yours - Congratulations @dmcintyrewwe on signing your new @wwe deal.

As we talked about after your #WrestleMania match, I know this Scottish Claymore represents everything that you, your family and your country embody.

McIntyre thanked The Rock through the camera, noting back that he is in fact a “man of his word”. 

This was confirmed by Fightful Select, who reported that McIntyre’s deal is a big money, multi-year deal, finalised after the two sides went back and forth. It is said that McIntyre is happy with the outcome.
