Drew McIntyre Still Yet To Re-Sign With WWE

Drew McIntyre still hasn't signed a new WWE deal

Drew McIntyre's WWE deal is set to expire next month but the two-time WWE Champion has still yet to put pen to paper on a new contract with the company.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, McIntyre has told those close to him that he is yet to lock in a new deal with WWE. Both parties are working together under the assumption that McIntyre will be re-signing with WWE but nothing has been signed as of yet. Regardless of his next move, McIntyre focusing on family will reportedly be a major part of his next decision.

It is believed McIntyre's current WWE contract will expire in April at some point after WrestleMania 40. His deal would have already expired but WWE added injury time to McIntyre's contract.

Despite the uncertainty around his WWE future, McIntyre will be in a major match at WrestleMania 40. Irn Dru is scheduled to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on April 7.

When asked about his WWE future earlier this month, McIntyre stayed quiet about his contract status during an appearance on The Ringer's Masked Men show:

"It's very important to me, having a new contract. It's been talked about for a very long time on the internet. I'm not the only one whose contract comes up every few years or whatever, but you would think it, reading the internet. There is nothing I can say right now. I can say that I'm having fun. I can say that I intend to continue having fun and I'm in my prime. I'm younger than everyone thinks I am because I've been around for such a long time. I have years to go. No matter what, you'll still see Drew McIntyre wrestling. I can say 'or Drew Galloway' and that would get everyone's attention."
