Brian Cage Comments On AEW Contract Status

Brian Cage has spoken of his AEW contract

In early 2023 it was revealed that Brian Cage had signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling, with ‘The Machine’ pledging his future to the organisation.

Since re-signing, Cage has been used across AEW and Ring of Honor, with cage primarily teaming with the Gates of Agony, and recently turning on Mogul Embassy leader Swerve Strickland. When speaking with the Lightweights podcast, Cage spoke more of his current deal with the company:

"I don't see myself going anywhere else. With how long I've been there and how long my contract is for and everything else, it makes sense to stay put and I'm happy with that," Cage said, before confirming he has ‘about six years’ left on his deal.

If the numbers are accurate, then Cage will be signed with AEW/ROH until at least 2030.

The former TNA World Champion has been part of AEW since 2019, but it hasn’t always been such smooth sailing. Frustration arose from Cage’s camp in 2021 with Cage sitting on the sidelines with no creative plans in place for large spells of the year. Cage later claimed he received no heat from comments shared on social media by his wife Melissa Santos criticising AEW's use of Cage.
