Update: ROH Final Battle To Take Place In Front Of Fans

ROH's 'WrestleMania' is set to take place in front of a live audience

After reports this week that ROH are set to finish 2021 without live fans in attendance, it has now been reported that  Final Battle 2021 will have fans in attendance, but ROH's weekly shows are likely to be empty arena shows.

PWI’s Mike Johnson originally reported that ROH had no more live shows planned for the remainder of 2021, but now, The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has said:

“According to ROH, that is not correct and Final Battle will be taking place in front of fans in Baltimore in December. They are taping television in front of no fans tonight and tomorrow night.”

Final Battle is traditionally ROH’s last PPV of the year, taking place every December since 2002, and is considered by many to be ROH’s flagship event - their equivalent of WrestleMania. The 2019 and 2020 editions also took place in Baltimore, with the show previously a New York event for most of its run.

No date or ticket information has been announced yet for Final Battle 2021.
