W. Morrissey Reportedly In Talks Over 'Big Money Deal' With IMPACT Wrestling

Morrissey is technically a free agent at the moment

W. Morrissey is reportedly in discussions with IMPACT Wrestling over a new 'big money deal' with the promotion after technically becoming a free agent.

Morrissey, who made his IMPACT debut in April, has maintained in media interviews that his contract with the company was a short-term deal, and Fightful Select is reporting that this contract has now expired and Morrissey is a free agent.

There is a desire from both sides to continue the working relationship, with Morrissey expressing his happiness in IMPACT Wrestling while also proving himself from an in-ring perspective and in terms of his behaviour outside of it.

The report indicates that the contract being discussed would be a 'big money deal' by IMPACT Wrestling standards but there is a willingness from both parties to get the contract sorted.

Morrissey defeated Matt Cardona in singles action at IMPACT Turning Point 2021 over the weekend. He has also defeated the likes of former IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and formed an alliance with Moose during his brief run in the promotion so far.
