Wardlow Vs. Matt Sydal Added To AEW Winter Is Coming
The event takes place this Wednesday night
Another match has been added to this Wednesday's Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite, as Pinnacle member Wardlow goes one on one with Matt Sydal.
Both men were participants in this past Wednesday's 12-man Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. Sydal was thrown out in the early going, while Wardlow was "accidentally" thrown out by MJF, as part of a group elimination that also saw Lee Johnson and Lio Rush get sent out. This is the latest example of not-so-subtle friction between MJF and Wardlow, which has been sporadically teased over many months.
In recent weeks, Wardlow has dominated in singles competition on AEW Dynamite. He defeated Wheeler Yuta in about two minutes on the November 10 Dynamite, before beating uncontracted talent AC Adams on the December 1 broadcast in 90 seconds.
The current card for AEW Winter is Coming, taking place this Wednesday at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, TX, is as follows:
