WWE & AEW Offer Deals To Stephanie Vaquer

WWE & AEW in bidding war over Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer may soon be featured on WWE TV or in All Elite Wrestling.

According to Mexican sports newspaper Récord, Stephanie Vaquer has received contract offers from both WWE and All Elite Wrestling. Their report notes that Vaquer has been offered multi-year deals by both companies and she will decide in the next few days whether to sign with WWE or Tony Khan's promotion.

The contract offers come after Vaquer impressed in her Title vs. Title Match against Mercedes Moné at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in late June. Vaquer ultimately lost her NJPW STRONG Women's Championship to Moné in the match but she impressed throughout, with reports even indicating that the match was laid out with Moné's intentions of "making" Vaquer at Forbidden Door in mind.

Having begun her career back in 2009, the Chilean talent has been a part of CMLL since 2019 and she is the CMLL World Women's Champion and CMLL World Women's Tag Team Champion with Zeuxis. Vaquer began to wrestle in the United States in 2021, and made her NJPW STRONG debut in May 2023 in the tournament to crown the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women's Champion. She was a regular for New Japan following her first appearance and she won the NJPW STRONG Women's Title from Giulia in March 2024.
