WWE Performance Center Not Moving To Las Vegas

No Las Vegas move planned for WWE Performance Center

Rumours this week suggested WWE could be set to move their Performance Center from Orlando, Florida to Las Vegas, but apparently this is not the case.

The rumour took flight after TKO President Mark Shapiro allegedly said such a move was being planned during a recent meeting, but WWE sources debunked this, telling Fightful Select that the meeting ‘didn't happen unless there was another meeting held’. Other WWE sources also debunked the rumour, saying no such announcement had been made by Shapiro.

It’s said that Shapiro was in fact making a point as to Vegas’ strengths and desirability as a sports and entertainment destination and that WWE having a presence in the city was ‘on the table’. What kind of presence, where, when, or how big has not been clarified.

Those within the WWE Performance Center itself had heard of no such plans, with it noted that the current PC’s proximity to the homes of main roster stars, plus the living costs for trainees make Orlando a preferable hub compared to Las Vegas.

WWE established the Performance Center in 2013.
