Bret Hart Says It Is 'Always A Pleasure' Running Into Triple H

Better than running into Bill Goldberg, that's for sure...

Bret Hart made his return to WWE screens on this past Monday's edition of Raw, where he had an in-ring confrontation with Gunther that saw the WWE World Heavyweight Champion claim Goldberg was his favourite wrestler growing up.

It was a homecoming for The Hitman, with the show taking place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As well as seeing friends and family, Hart also caught up with WWE stars and personnel backstage, including Paul 'Triple H' Levesque.

In a video uploaded to WWE's YouTube channel, Bret commented on his interaction with the company's Chief Content Officer, saying: "There's not that many from my generation that are around anymore, so running into Triple H is always a pleasure".

Levesque had posted a clip to social media showing him thanking Hart for his appearance when he got to the Gorilla position afterwards. WWE almost had to cancel Bret's appearance due to the 67-year-old feeling under the weather, though he ended up appearing as scheduled.

The Excellence of Execution hasn't always been kind when speaking about The Cerebral Assassin in the past, previously describing how Triple H (and Shawn Michaels) tried to 'ruin' The Rock during The Great One's ascent up the card in 1997.
