WWE World Heavyweight Title Match At Money In The Bank Revealed

WWE plans for World Heavyweight Title match at Money in the Bank revealed

The World Heavyweight Title match at WWE Money in the Bank was confirmed on the June 17 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Raw opened with Seth Rollins making his first appearance on WWE TV since he dropped the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. Rollins noted he returned to win back his title and revealed his plans to enter the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. This brought out Damian Priest, though, and the two talents agreed to face off for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank.

Rollins dropped the World Heavyweight Title to Drew McIntyre but 'Irn Dru' ended up losing the title only moments later after Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. Priest has been champion ever since WrestleMania and he successfully defended the title over the weekend at Clash at the Castle against Drew McIntyre.

Rollins had been out of action since Mania and he underwent meniscus surgery during his time on the shelf. Rollins has also since re-signed with WWE

WWE Money in the Bank will emanate from Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Saturday, July 6. The updated card is as follows:

  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth Rollins - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match
  • Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match
