X-Division Title Match Set For IMPACT Under Siege

Another title match announced for IMPACT Under Siege

Trey Miguel will put the X-Division Championship on the line at Under Siege later this month.

IMPACT Wrestling have announced that Chris Sabin will challenge Miguel for the X-Division Title at the IMPACT Plus special on Friday, May 26. Sabin looked set to receive a shot at the gold after he pinned Miguel during a six-man tag team match on the April 20 edition of IMPACT. The match saw Sabin and his Time Machine allies Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA defeat Trey, Jonathan Gresham, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey.

Under Siege will be the first time Sabin has challenged for the X-Division Championship since he faced Josh Alexander in November 2021. Sabin is an eight-time X-Division Champion but hasn't held the belt since 2014.

Trey Miguel is a two-time X-Division Champion. His second reign began back in November 2022 and he has successfully defended the title against the likes of Black Taurus, Lince Dorado, Jonathan Gresham, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey.

Under Siege will air from London, Ontario, Canada. Already announced for the event is Steve Maclin vs. PCO for the IMPACT World Championship, and Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Title. If Grace loses, she can't challenge for the title for as long as Purrazzo is champion.
