10/15 WWE SmackDown Running 2.5 Hours, Overlapping With AEW Rampage

A special "Supersized" SmackDown

Due to the FOX network airing Major League Baseball playoffs next Friday night, the October 15 WWE SmackDown will be broadcast on cable channel FS1.

WWE is promoting this episode as a special "Supersized" broadcast, which will run two and a half hours from 8 pm to 10:30 EST, according to cable listings. This means the last half hour of the show will run simultaneously with the first half hour of AEW Rampage (which will air live from Miami, one night before a special Saturday Dynamite in the same venue).

Tony Khan tweeted about the face-off, writing, "I saw you’re doing a half hour head-to-head with us. I can’t wait to finally beat your main show head-to-head. It’s been a long time coming. See you next Friday for #AEWRampage on @AEWonTNT""

WWE has announced the following for next Friday's SmackDown at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA:

* Non Title: Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks

* King of the Ring semifinal: Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn

* Queen's Crown semifinal: Carmella vs. Zelina Vega

* An appearance from Brock Lesnar
