Over the weekend, some potentially worrying news emerged from PWInsider, as they have reported that WWE Hall Of Famer Abdullah The Butcher has been hospitalised. He is said to have been admitted due to an intestinal issue, and he is in a Georgia-based hospital.
Although this news only emerged over the weekend, it was revealed by PWInsider that Abdullah The Butcher has been in hospital for close to a week at this stage. He is currently scheduled to be appearing at The Gathering wrestling convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, next weekend, taking place between August 1 and August 4, but it is unknown whether he will be making the event due to his health problems and it is currently not known publicly whether he will be discharged from hospital prior to the convention taking place.
Abdullah is renowned as one of the most gruesome and violent professional wrestlers of all time, bringing about several injury and illness issues for both himself and for his opponents over the years.
