Scorpio Sky has been absent from an AEW ring since back in September of 2023, and despite some vignettes airing back in May of this year, teasing the return of Sky on AEW Collision with a potential new character, he never ended up resurfacing in the company. The vignette featured him talking about his lengthy road to recovery, revealing that he’d been out with an injury.

The 41-year-old recently wrestled his first match of 2024 at the WCP/DPW/Prestige Roseland 9 event, reuniting with former SoCal Uncensored ally Frankie Kazarian for the first time in four years to take on Midnight Heat (Ricky Gibson & Eddie Pearl). Sky will be wrestling again soon with Game Changer Wrestling announcing that he will be making his GCW debut at next weekend’s Blood On The Hills 3 event in Los Angeles.

Sky is a former TNT Champion and one half of the inaugural World Tag Team Champions in AEW, however he has competed just three times on AEW programming since July 2022. He made some appearances in ROH at the back end of 2023, teasing a reunion with former partner Ethan Page, but this did not come to fruition.
