Adam Cole Has Reportedly Turned Down Multiple WWE Contract Offers

Cole seems ready to leave WWE

Adam Cole has reportedly turned down a number of new contract offers from WWE amid speculation that his current deal is set to expire this month.

It has been heavily reported that Cole's current WWE deal is due to expire the weekend of SummerSlam 2021 and therefore his final appearance for the company will be at NXT TakeOver 36.

With it initially believed the 32-year-old's contract would run out in early 2022, it actually transpired that Cole's deal expired following NXT The Great American Bash last month, with the former NXT Champion agreeing to a short-term extension.

More details about Cole's future have now seemingly come to light with PWUnlimited reporting that Cole has already turned down multiple new contract offers from WWE. There is no indication as to what was included in those offers but it appears deals put in front of Cole were not to his liking.

With just under three weeks to go until his WWE deal expires, and with this latest news, all signs point to Adam Cole leaving WWE at the end of his contract. If Cole does not re-sign with WWE and lets his contract expire there will not be a no-compete clause, meaning he would be free to appear for another company as soon as he wanted.
