Report: Becky Lynch Not Scheduled To Return At WWE SummerSlam

The Man won't be back in August

Becky Lynch won't be returning at the SummerSlam pay-per-view on Saturday, August 21, according to a new report.

The Man has been away from WWE since she announced she was pregnant in May 2020 and Lynch and Seth Rollins welcomed their daughter, Roux, in December.

Since then, Lynch has signed a new contract with the company and has been training ahead of an in-ring return, but that return doesn't appear to be close. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lynch has not been factored into WWE's plans for SummerSlam. Instead, the company has considered bringing Lynch back during the autumn months, with an October return having been openly discussed.

Which brand Lynch will return on is also currently up in the air. The Man was a Raw Superstar before she went on hiatus but recent reports have noted she could return on a different brand. Which show that will be remains to be seen, but Lynch's husband Seth Rollins is currently competing on Friday Night SmackDown.
