Adam Cole Says CM Punk Has Been "Nothing But Kind" To Him
Adam Cole had good things to say about CM Punk
Much has been made about CM Punk’s backstage presence in AEW. Amidst brawls, alleged heat with other wrestlers, and so much more which has emerged in reports in recent months, it is often a nice change to hear something positive about the two-time AEW World Champion, and if there is anyone to bring some positivity to a situation, it is Adam Cole.
Cole was asked about CM Punk on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast, and he spoke only well of his co-worker.
"I've had a few interactions with him, and he has always been nothing but kind to me. Obviously, when he first came to AEW, it was a big deal for us and brought a lot of eyes and attention on the company. AEW has been on this crazy uphill swing for the past few years since I've arrived and that's pretty cool.”
Cole was someone who was mentioned during CM Punk’s infamous All Out media scrum outburst last year, but unlike his friends in The Elite, Punk actually dished out some compliments Cole’s way and wished him the best as he recovered from his injury.
