Report: CM Punk, Jack Perry Have Backstage Altercation At AEW All In

Following Perry's match on the Zero Hour

CM Punk and Jack Perry had an altercation backstage at AEW All In on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London, according to a report from Fightful Select.

Per the report, Punk and Perry had the reported altercation between Perry's match on the Zero Hour with Hook and Punk's main card opener with Samoa Joe.

During the course of Perry's match with Hook, Perry set up a spot where he attempted to put Hook through a car windshield, and preceded the spot by saying to the camera, "It's real glass, cry me a river." This was in reference to a reported confrontation Perry had with Punk at a recent Collision taping, after Punk allegedly took exception to Perry wanting to use real glass for a spot on the show.

According to Fightful's report, "We haven't heard of the extent of which the altercation got, but that it got physical, and involved a lot of yelling."

Perry dropped the FTW title to Hook on the Zero Hour portion, while Punk retained the "Real World's title" over Joe in the pay-per-view opener.

UPDATE: According to PWInsider Elite regarding the altercation, the prevailing word is that, "Perry confronted Punk, leading to the two shoving each other. As we previously stated, from there, the first story was Punk struck Perry. However, the version that is becoming most shared is that Perry was caught in a choke."

PWInsider's update adds, "Punk is still backstage at Wembley Stadium. We are told that Perry was ordered to leave and is no longer at the Stadium."

FURTHER UPDATE: AEW CEO Tony Khan said during the post-All In media scrum that the promotion are investigating the incident. Find out more here.
