Adam Cole's Final WWE Appearance Set Before Contract Reportedly Expires

Cole's contract reportedly expires on Friday

Adam Cole is set to make what would be his final appearance as a contracted WWE talent on Thursday, should his deal with the company expire as reported on Friday 27 August.

It has been heavily reported that Cole's deal with WWE was set to expire following his showing at NXT TakeOver: 36 on Sunday. The former leader of the Undisputed Era lost to his old teammate, Kyle O'Reilly, in a two-out-of-three falls match.

With every indication suggesting that Cole has not signed a new deal, it seems the former NXT Champion is set to leave WWE when the deal runs out this Friday.

In an update, WWE have announced that Cole and NXT's Johnny Gargano will join Mattel representatives for a special live product reveal on Amazon Live on Thursday at 6pm ET. The live show will see Cole, Gargano and the Mattel reps show off new WWE toys and collector’s items.

If Cole's contract does expire on Friday, as reported, then this live appearance on Amazon will be his final outing as a WWE employee.
