Adam Copeland Vs. Christian Cage 'I Quit' Match Set For AEW Dynamite In Toronto

AEW Dynamite in Toronto to feature Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage ‘I Quit’ match

The bad blood between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage is far from over, and the storied rivals/tag legends are set to clash in an I Quit match on the March 20 edition of AEW Dynamite.

After victory over Daniel Garcia at Revolution on March 3, Cage and his Patriarchy rubbed salt in the wounds of ‘Red Death’ and associate Matt Menard by beating the pair down on the March 6 Dynamite. Adam Copeland then made his return to AEW after several weeks away, clearing house with the aid of a steel chair.

After chasing Cage out of the arena, Copeland challenged Christian to an I Quit match for the TNT Championship, with the bout set for the duo’s hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Tony Khan officially sanctioned the bout soon after.

This will be the third singles bout between the two since Copeland joined All Elite Wrestling at WrestleDream in October 2023. Whilst Cage won the first on the December 12, 2023 Dynamite, Copeland would beat his former partner for the TNT Championship at Worlds End on December 30. Cage would regain the title seconds later after a chokeslam from Killswitch and the enacting of a title shot won by the former Luchasaurus.
