Adam Copeland Vs. Minoru Suzuki & More Set For January 24 AEW Dynamite

AEW have announced Adam Copeland vs. Minoru Suzuki, an AEW World Trios Title match, and more

No you are not dreaming, AEW has genuinely announced that Adam Copeland will be going one on one with Minoru Suzuki on the January 24 edition of AEW Dynamite this week. Adam Copeland has been issuing an array of open challenges, taking on some younger names on the AEW roster, but on Wednesday he will be met with a fellow legend in Suzuki for a first time ever matchup.

This isn’t the only thing that AEW have announced for Dynamite next week, as a title match will be held on the show too. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn will be putting their AEW World Trios Championships on the line against The Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage & Gates Of Agony), just one week after The Mogul Embassy dropped their ROH Six-Man Titles to Bullet Club Gold. This also comes after The Acclaimed & Bullet Club Gold formed a supergroup on Collision called the Bang Bang Scissor Gang

Elsewhere, Adam Page and Swerve Strickland will both be in singles matches ahead of their respective pursuits of Samoa Joe and the AEW World Championship, with Page taking on Penta El Zero Miedo, and Strickland battling Jeff Hardy.

The full line-up for Dynamite is as follows:

  • Adam Copeland vs. Minoru Suzuki
  • Adam Page vs. Penta El Zero Miedo
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Jeff Hardy
  • The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn (c) vs. The Mogul Embassy - AEW World Trios Championships
  • We hear from Sting & Darby Allin
  • Face-to-face between AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo
  • Wardlow vs. Trent Beretta
