Adult Video Site Sends Cease-And-Desist To Indy Tag Team

An indy tag team could be forced into a name change

Another day in professional wrestling.

August Matthews and Davey Bang of The Bang Bros have been an active tag team on the independent wrestling scene since August 2019 but the popular indy talents may be forced into a name change.

August Matthews revealed on Twitter that adult film website Bang Bros has sent him and Davey Bang a cease-and-desist. The pair did not post the real letter on social media, with Matthews writing"Guys this isn't the real one, wasn't gonna risk losing my 04 Corolla, we'll have the real one at Freelance 10$ pictures with it all night come see us."

The Bang Bros will seemingly continue with the name for the time being. They have performed for the likes of Black Label Pro, Warrior Wrestling, Freelance Wrestling, and GCW in the last month alone. They are the reigning BLP and Unsanctioned Pro tag team champions.

Matthews and Bang also wrestled for Ring of Honor in June, losing to Alex Reynolds and John Silver of Dark Order. They were not billed as The Bang Bros, however.
