A judge has issued an order for Janel Grant's medical records to be released by Dr. Carlon Colker and his Peak Wellness clinic.

The order was issued by Judge David Bothwell during a hearing in Connecticut Superior Court on Monday. The order covers medical and billing records from Colker and Peak Wellness relating to Janel Grant, as well as certain communications between the clinic and Vince McMahon or WWE. Defence lawyer Frank Silvestri noted at Monday's hearing that he planned to challenge the request for communications.

The deposition requests from Grant were rejected, however, with Judge Bothwell noting that Connecticut case law allows pre-lawsuit depositions only when a witness may become unavailable, such as through illness or death. Bothwell found no such urgency in the case.

Janel Grant filed a bill of discovery against Dr. Carlon Colker and Peak Wellness in July 2024, and the bill was approved on July 7, 2025. Grant was seeking medical records in relation to her sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, with Grant alleging that the medical records she had received from Colker and Peak Wellness were incomplete and inaccurate. Colker and Peak Wellness are also being accused by Grant of instructing her to take pills and undergo treatments that were not disclosed to her when she received care at the clinic between November 2019 and April 15, 2022.

Janel Grant's lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon remains ongoing, with a judge yet to rule on whether the case will move to arbitration or not. Grant has alleged that the arbitration clause in the nondisclosure agreement she signed with Vince McMahon in February 2022 is unenforceable due to being under duress at the time of its signing. WWE and Vince McMahon, however, have filed motions for the lawsuit to be moved to private arbitration.

In a separate case, Carlon Colker filed a defamation lawsuit against Grant's attorney Ann Callis in May 2025.
