AEW All Access 'Skirts Around' Brawl Out Between The Elite & CM Punk

Very little mention of Brawl Out on AEW All Access

All Elite Wrestling premiered their new All Access series following Wednesday night's episode of Dynamite, with the new show airing on TBS.

Britt Baker and Adam Cole were featured prominently on the first episode, as were The Young Bucks as they made their return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time since All Out. The situation that led to The Young Bucks being absent from AEW for two months was not addressed, though, with The Ringer noting ahead of the episode that AEW 'skirts around' the backstage fight between The Elite and CM Punk & Ace Steel that took place after All Out in September 2022.

The backstage fight was then avoided during the episode, but Nick Jackson did reveal The Young Bucks considered retiring during their time away from AEW TV.

The backstage fight - or Brawl Out - between CM Punk, Ace Steel, and The Elite took place after CM Punk's rant about the AEW EVPs, Colt Cabana, and Hangman Page during the post-All Out media scrum. A brawl broke out soon after which led to Ace Steel biting Kenny Omega and throwing a chair that hit Nick Jackson. A member of AEW's production staff was also struck by a chair during the melee.

All involved were suspended after All Out, with The Elite and CM Punk being stripped of the AEW World Trios Titles and AEW World Championship respectively. The Elite would return at Full Gear in November, two months after they were suspended, and Ace Steel was fired. CM Punk has yet to return to AEW and it appears there is little chance of him coming back to the promotion

The full details of what happened in the fight are likely to never be officially revealed due to potential legal ramifications.
