Report: WWE Growing In Confidence Over Signing Jay White

Jay White to WWE appears to be more and more likely every day

WWE are growing in confidence about signing Jay White.

WrestleVotes has told GiveMeSport that the longer Jay White doesn't show up in All Elite Wrestling, the more confident WWE become about the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion deciding to sign with them

"I heard recently from a source that the longer that Jay White doesn't show up in Jacksonville, the more confident WWE is," WrestleVotes said.

Jay White had previously been a top star in NJPW but he left the promotion on February 18 at Battle in the Valley after he lost a Loser Leaves New Japan Match to Eddie Kingston. White's contract expired shortly after and David Finlay has put himself forward as the new leader of Bullet Club.

It emerged following his NJPW exit that White is in talks with WWE and All Elite Wrestling.

If White is set to sign with WWE, a potential debut date for Switchblade would be the Raw after WrestleMania 39, a show which is often used to kick off the new year of WWE TV with surprises.
