All Elite Wrestling have brought in some big names to sit at the commentary table in recent weeks - and their latest signing is sure to turn some heads.

AEW have announced that former WWE and TNA broadcaster Taz will be joining the booth for part of next week's show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Cody Rhodes tweeted that Taz will be joining the team as a 'guest broadcaster' on AEW Dark. This is the first time he has been behind a commentary desk since leaving TNA on April 15th, 2015.

Whilst Taz had a legendary run in ECW as 'The Human Suplex Machine' he failed to establish himself as a WWF guy until he donned the headset, joining Michael Cole as part of SmackDown in 2001.

Upon leaving WWE in 2009 he resurfaced in TNA as the mentor of Samoa Joe. This role was short-lived, and he would eventually join the TNA commentary booth alongside Mike Tenay. Later he played a role in the Aces and Eights storyline.

AEW Dark is AEW’s YouTube production, showcasing matches recorded before AEW Dynamite goes live on TNT.
