AEW Announce The Return Of "Winter Is Coming"

AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming will be on December 13

Winter Is Coming has been an AEW tradition ever since 2020, with it being billed as a special episode of Dynamite. It will be returning for a fourth time on December 13, 2023 when Dynamite comes to the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, as announced during last night’s episode of AEW Collision.

No matches have been announced for Winter Is Coming as of yet, though the last few years have hosted plenty of big matches and moments. 2020 saw the debut of Sting and the AEW World Championship clash between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega which solidified Omega’s heel turn as he cheated to become champion.

The following year saw a thrilling 60-minute time limit draw between “Hangman” Adam Page and Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship in addition to MJF defending the Dynamite Diamond Ring against Dante Martin. Last year, MJF defended both the AEW World Title and the Diamond Ring against Ricky Starks, whilst Action Andretti picked up the biggest upset win in AEW history against Chris Jericho.
