AEW Announces Grand Slam Australia For Brisbane In February 2025

AEW is coming to Australia in 2025

AEW announced during the Zero Hour portion of All In that they will make their Australia debut this coming February, with an event called Grand Slam Australia.

The event takes place Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The card will be the fifth different event to be held in AEW's Grand Slam chronology, following four events at New York's Arthur Ashe Stadium from 2021 to present.

Over the preceding week, it was reported by Sporting News in Australia that AEW was looking to run a stadium show in the country. Tony Khan confirmed the story during his pre-All In media call.

Suncorp Stadium is primarily used for rugby and soccer, and has a listed capacity of 52,500, not counting the expected seating at field level. Its record attendance is 59,185, for an Ed Sheeran concert.

Australia would be the sixth different country to at least co-host an AEW-branded event, following the US, Canada, England, Wales, and Japan (Wrestle Dynasty this coming January 5 at the Tokyo Dome), as well as the fourth different continent.
