AEW Dynamite Attendance In Cincinnati Down By 47% Compared To Last Show In The City

Second-lowest attendance of 2023 for AEW on September 13

All Elite Wrestling were not a hot ticket in Cincinnati, Ohio.

AEW headed to the hometown of Jon Moxley for the September 13 edition of Dynamite, with the show emanating from Heritage Bank Center. The promotion struggled to move tickets for the event, though, and WrestleTix reported that only 2,521 tickets were distributed by show time. The venue has a capacity of 17,556.

Their last time in Cincinnati, AEW held a special Tuesday night taping of Dynamite at Heritage Bank Center on October 18, 2022. That show featured three title matches and 4,740 fans were in attendance.

The September 13 Dynamite was AEW's second-lowest attendance for an event in 2023, only ahead of the AEW Collision taping in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 8 which drew 2,474. AEW may have struggled to promote the show in the local area as WrestleTix noted that many residents only became aware of the Dynamite taping on Tuesday night when AEW adverts aired during the Cincinnati Reds baseball game.

AEW have struggled to move tickets in the United States for much of the year, with attendances often down from their previous shows in cities across the country.
