AEW Dynamite struggled massively outside of the show's regular time slot, setting new record lows in total viewership and 18-49 viewers.

Dynamite was preempted due to the MLB playoffs so AEW aired a special Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite from 9 pm ET on TBS on October 8. The show only averaged 329,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

Compared to AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday in 2023, Dynamite's total viewership was down 46 per cent from 609,000.

Matches featured on AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday included Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta vs. Claudio Castagnoli and PAC, Hologram vs. Komander, and Mercedes Moné vs. Emi Sakura.

The first hour of AEW Dynamite also went head-to-head with the second hour of WWE NXT on The CW. NXT averaged 874,000 viewers and a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demo as the show's ratings barely declined from last week's premiere on The CW.

Key moments on NXT in St. Louis included Randy Orton facing Je'Von Evans, an appearance from Jey Uso, the debut of Stephanie Vaquer, and Tony D'Angelo defeating Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship.
