MVP & Chris Jericho Quash Past Heat

MVP and Chris Jericho have already put their past issues behind them.

MVP recently signed with All Elite Wrestling and Fightful Select has reported the former WWE United States Champion went directly to Chris Jericho's locker room during MVP's first night backstage in AEW. People within the promotion noted Jericho and MVP hashed out their issues and they won't have any problems moving forward.

Jericho and MVP have even been seen interacting backstage since they put their beef to rest. MVP received praise by many backstage in AEW for addressing his issues with Jericho directly.

Montel Vontavious Porter and Chris Jericho had a falling out over "social and political issues" and their issues only worsened following a private exchange. The two wrestlers were reportedly involved in a physical altercation during Chris Jericho's Rock N' Wrestling Rager At Sea - Part Deux: Second Wave in January 2020 that resulted in Jericho being knocked out by MVP after "heated words were exchanged."

Jericho and MVP's issues continued in a Houston hotel lobby in May 2022. MVP was at the hotel visiting friends and allegedly invited Jericho to step outside so they could "handle their problems." Jericho declined and got into the hotel elevator after saying he "doesn't fight jobbers."
