After two straight weeks of NXT earning the duke over AEW Dynamite in total viewership, the TNT show reassumes control, albeit by a hair this time around.
According to
Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite averaged 851,000 viewers, a 28 percent jump from last week's plummet to 663,000.
NXT was just edged out, averaging 845,000 viewers in a four percent jump from last week's 810,000 viewer average.
The 1,696,000 combined viewers between the shows are the sixth highest amount in the ten weeks of head-to-heads.
Dynamite finished eighth (up from 15th last week) for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographic, scoring a 0.32 demo rating.
NXT ranked 12th (up from 19th) for the night in the same demo, with a 0.29 rating.
In a slight departure from recent weeks in the battle, NXT managed to take the lead in a couple of demos, including persons 18-34 (0.20 to 0.19) and females 12-34 (0.12 to 0.11). They maintain their usual lead in persons over 50, outscoring AEW 0.38 to 0.31.
Dynamite's key wins continue to be in males, defeating NXT in males 18-49 (0.41 to 0.36) and males 12-34 (0.25 to 0.20).
