AEW Files To Trademark "All Elite Wrestling: Elite General Manager"

A new mobile game could be on the horizon...

Since All Elite Wrestling launched, fans have been hoping the young promotion will release a video game at some point. Cody Rhodes has previously said AEW is looking to develop a video game but that it's "going to take time." Kenny Omega said as recently as last month that the game was in production and it has taken inspiration from WWF No Mercy and WWF WrestleMania 2000.

A mobile game may well arrive before a AAA video game, however, as AEW recently filed to trademark "All Elite Wrestling: Elite General Manager." The trademark will be used for "downloadable computer game software" available on mobile devices.

The filing states: "IC 009. US 021 023 026 036 038. G & S: Downloadable game software; Downloadable computer game software for use on mobile and cellular phones; Downloadable electronic game software for use on handheld computers and mobile gaming devices; Downloadable video game programs; Recorded video game software."

AEW also filed to trademark "Elite GM," also for the purposes of "downloadable computer game software for use on mobile and cellular phones."
