AEW Full Gear Match Yet To Be Decided On

Plans for AEW Full Gear have yet to be decided in one aspect

All Elite Wrestling have yet to make a decision on the AEW World Tag Team Title match at Full Gear. AEW's next pay-per-view will air from the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, November 18.

Original plans for Full Gear called for FTR vs. The Young Bucks IV for the AEW World Tag Team Championships after Matt and Nick Jackson earned a title shot at WrestleDream. FTR have since dropped the belts to Ricky Starks and Big Bill, though, and plans for a rematch on October 28 were scrapped in favour of a Ricky Starks vs. Dax Harwood singles match.

Although a rematch of FTR vs. Ricky Starks & Big Bill looked to be the direction for Full Gear following Collision, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that AEW have yet to make a final decision and it may be The Young Bucks vs. Big Bill & Ricky Starks.

"So, on the Collision show, they had Dax and Ricky Starks do a match. And I figured, normally the challenger wins... I don't think that that tag title match is coming up. The last I heard is that they may do Big Bill and Ricky Starks against The Young Bucks at Full Gear, but that's not official. It was just one of many different things that was kind of thrown out there. So I've got to see how this all turns out," Meltzer said.

"But even so, under any circumstances, the Bucks just won the number one contenders' match. And it's never been talked about since. Yes. It's never been brought up. They did like on any show. They've never had them do any interviews. And Big Bill and Ricky Starks have never talked about the Young Bucks. I don't believe I haven't seen every single interview that's been done, but I've seen most. But there's been no talk at all about them going for the titles since they won that thing. So it's not a sure thing. I mean that's what's going to happen. But it was a thing that could happen. So that's kind of where things stand."

Matches already announced for Full Gear include MJF vs. Jay White for the AEW World Title, MJF and a mystery partner vs. The Gunns for the ROH World Tag Team Titles, and Hikaru Shida vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Title.
