AEW Helps Man Propose After Blood & Guts Goes Off The Air

Couple get engaged following AEW Blood & Guts

Evaporated blood wasn't the only thing in the air at AEW Blood & Guts on Wednesday night.

All Elite Wrestling presented a special Blood & Guts edition of Dynamite from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 24. After Dynamite went off the air, ring announcer Justin Roberts had another special task as he asked a gentleman in the front row, who was in attendance with his girlfriend, if he had dropped something.

After the gentleman acted shocked, he proceeded to get down on one knee and retrieve an engagement ring from his pocket. After popping the question, fortunately for the gentleman, his partner said yes as they became officially engaged. The moment led to spontaneous "YES!" chants inside Bridgestone Arena.

The newly-engaged couple were seemingly invited backstage after the show as they were later interviewed about the proposal.

The couple got engaged only minutes after Team AEW managed to defeat The Elite in Blood & Guts. Matthew Jackson ultimately quit for the faction after Darby Allin repeatedly threatened to set a handcuffed Jack Perry on fire.
