AEW In Discussion With The Von Erichs

AEW are interested in signing the Von Erichs

The Von Erich family have been a big part of professional wrestling’s history, for better or for worse, and recent interest sparked in the family once again following the release of the Iron Claw movie, which followed some of their life turmoil.

In today’s wrestling landscape, Marshall & Ross Von Erich are carrying forth the family legacy, both returning to the ring in 2023 after a many month hiatus from action in 2022. In recent months, they have featured on Ring Of Honor programming, winning matches against the likes of The Outrunners, The WorkHorsemen, 2point0 & Jake Hager, and The Iron Savages in a collection of tag team and trios bouts. For many of these appearances, they were accompanied by Kevin Von Erich. Most recently, they appeared on AEW Rampage in February 2024, teaming with Dustin Rhodes to defeat the trio of Hitt, Romero Crews, and Shimbashi in a squash match.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW are in discussions with the tag team of Marshall & Ross Von Erich, potentially giving the family another run in a top promotion. Tony Khan has clearly been impressed enough to consider signing them.
