AEW Officially Signs Queen Aminata

AEW have made a new signing to their women's division

AEW have been making a lot of big movements in recent months when it comes to strengthening their roster, with reports of incoming names like Kazuchika Okada from NJPW and free agent Mercedes Mone, not to mention that Will Ospreay is officially coming in ahead of the upcoming AEW Revolution 2024 PPV, where he will be facing Konosuke Takeshita.

The women’s division now has a new member, with it being officially announced by Tony Khan on X that Queen Aminata was now “All Elite”. Amidst AEW Rampage last night, when Aminata defeated Anna Jay in a massive victory, Khan issued his welcome message to Aminata.

“Congratulations to Queen Aminata! She just won her first ever @AEWonTV match tonight, and now it's official: Queen @amisylle is ALL ELITE! Thank you to all of you watching Friday Night #AEWRampage, right NOW on @TNTdrama!”

This comes after a report last month which noted that Aminata had officially signed with AEW, but this is confirmation from the AEW side. Aminata has been competing in AEW since all the way back in 2021, becoming a regular on the AEW Dark YouTube show where she was used mostly to put others over. It wasn’t until the back end of 2023 where she began competing more regularly on televised AEW programming.
