AEW Re-Signs QT Marshall

QT Marshall re-signs with AEW

Less than two months after exiting All Elite Wrestling, QT Marshall has done a u-turn and has signed a new deal with the company.

Marshall left AEW at the expiration of his contract in December 2023, with the former AEW VP wanting to wrestle more and not just be viewed as a coach. According to a report from Fightful Select, AEW and Marshall have solved any issues they once had, with Marshall set to return to the company strictly in his previous capacity as a VP, but with the freedom to wrestle outside of the promotion - barring WWE.

Although Marshall is yet to officially restart with the company, an agreement between the two sides is believed to have been in place ‘for a couple of weeks’.

After leaving AEW, Marshall joined forces with Teil Rhodes to revive Dusty Rhodes’ old Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling promotion, and it’s unknown if his renewed agreement with AEW will impact upon his work with TCW.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that QT Marshall will be involved with talent development in AEW.

A close friend of the Rhodes family, QT Marshall originally joined AEW in 2019, working as both a backstage figure and an in-ring talent. Marshall has also worked with Lucha Libre AAA, holding the promotion’s Latin American Championship in late 2023.
