Jeff Hardy Injured During AEW Botch

Jeff Hardy seemingly injured after mishap in AEW match

Jeff Hardy appears to have suffered an injury at the February 14 All Elite Wrestling Rampage tapings.

Hardy was in singles action against Sammy Guevara during the event in Cedar Park, Texas, but suffered a blow to the head partway through the match. Guevara went up top for a Shooting Star Press with Hardy getting his knees up, but Guevara inadvertently landed knee first on Hardy’s face.

The match was promptly ended to allow AEW’s medical staff to check on Hardy, with Hardy said to have looked ‘out of it’ by fans in attendance, bleeding from the mouth and looking visibly disorientated when trying to stand.

There’s no word on Hardy’s condition after the match.

The WWE legend has been featured more prominently by AEW since the start of 2024, with Hardy showing signs of a heel turn, coincidentally after showing signs of frustration online and in interviews, with his booking and spot within the organisation.

Hardy joined AEW in 2022, but his run in the company has been stop-start. After a hot debut, Hardy soon found himself facing legal troubles due to being arrested for DUI, subsequently missing 10 months of action whilst his court case played out.
