AEW Reference Jeff Hardy On Dynamite

The teases continue

Jeff Hardy was referenced on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite from Atlantic City, New Jersey.

During Isiah Kassidy's Face Of The Revolution Qualifier against the debuting Keith Lee, Matt Hardy walked out on his faction-mate while Lee was dominating the action and The Broken One headed through the crowd to the back.

While Hardy was doing so, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone noted Matt's actions were "erratic."

Schiavone's comments were seemingly in reference to how WWE officials thought "Jeff Hardy had this erratic behaviour," when he walked out on a house show match in December and made his way through the crowd, posing for selfies in the process.

Hardy was sluggish during that match and he was later released by WWE after he refused to go to rehab.

Matt Hardy has since noted Jeff's drug test came back negative for any substances and The Charismatic Enigma declined WWE's offer to return, including a Hall Of Fame induction

If Jeff is AEW bound ultimately remains to be seen but The Young Bucks have teased his arrival, while Matt said "never say never" about a Hardy Boyz reunion on Dynamite.
