AEW Reschedules Rochester Dynamite, Plan For Next Week Up In The Air

Rochester will still get Dynamite down the line...

Postponements of large public gatherings continue, as next week's episode of AEW Dynamite in Rochester, NY has been postponed, due to concerns regarding the potential spread of the Coronavirus, as first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Figure 4 Weekly Online cites several AEW sources as confirming that this is the case.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Thursday that he is placing a ban on most gatherings of 500 or more people until further notice.

The event for Rochester has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 8.

There is still the possibility of a live Dynamite episode next Wednesday night, but it's unknown where it would take place, or what the theoretical episode would consist of. Some have speculated that the episode could take place in an empty arena in Jacksonville.

The episode of Dynamite scheduled for Newark, NJ the following week is also in jeopardy, as New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has recommended (though has not outright banned) public gatherings of 250 or more people, in order to combat the spread of COVID19.
