AEW's Cash Wheeler Unsure When He'll Be Cleared For In-ring Return

Wheeler suffered a nasty arm injury on the July 29 AEW Dynamite

As seen on the July 28 edition of AEW Dynamite, FTR’s Cash Wheeler suffered a nasty arm injury during FTR’s tag match against Santana & Ortiz, seemingly catching his forearm on the turnbuckle, and suffering a deep gash as a result.

Wheeler instantly went to ringside staff for medical attention, with Dax Harwood getting the win on his own.

Wheeler has since taken to Instagram to give an update on his condition, writing:

“Thank you to everyone that’s reached out. I’ll be fine. I’m pretty lucky. Sorry to anyone I haven’t gotten back to yet. I’m still not going to respond to a lot of messages right now. I wanted to take the last week to get away in the mountains, clear my head, and see what the future holds.

“I won’t be there tonight. I don’t know when I’ll be cleared. But I know that no matter what, Dax is the best friend I could’ve ever asked for.”

On last night’s edition of Dynamite, a vignette ran proclaiming that FTR and Santana & Ortiz’s feud is set to continue.
